Meet Dr. Blattner
Endodontist Trevor C. Blattner, DDS, MS
Dr. Trevor Blattner was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and graduated from Cape Central High School. After high school he attended the University of Kansas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Upon graduation, Dr. Blattner attended dental school at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he graduated with his DDS in 2010. During dental school he developed a particular interest in the specialty of endodontics, and he completed research related to the use of Cone-Beam Computed Tomography in the identification of challenging root canal anatomy which was published in the Journal of Endodontics in 2010. After dental school, Dr. Blattner continued his training at the University of Maryland in Baltimore where he completed a 3 year residency earning his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology and his specialty certificate in Endodontics. Most recently, Dr. Blattner co-authored a systematic review addressing the elevation of systemic inflammatory markers in patients with endodontic pathosis which was accepted for publication in the Journal of Endodontics in 2013. Dr. Blattner opened “Blattner Endodontic Care”, a practice limited to endodontics, in order to serve the Southeast Missouri region in 2013. Dr. Blattner enjoys reading, golfing and spending time with his three daughters and family and friends at Kentucky Lake.
